Ephesians 1: God’s blessings and our spiritual inheritance.

Ephesians 2: Grace through faith and unity in Christ.

Ephesians 3: God’s mystery revealed and Paul’s prayer for strength.

Ephesians 4: Unity, spiritual growth, and Christian living.

Ephesians 5: Imitating Christ and instructions for relationships.

Ephesians 6: Spiritual armor and prayer for strength.

Ephesians beautifully emphasizes the centrality of Christ in all aspects of life. It focuses on God’s grace, the unity of believers, and the call to live a life worthy of His love. The book also encourages spiritual growth, love for others, and standing firm in faith through the strength provided by God. It is a reminder of both God’s gift of salvation and our role in responding with obedience, love, and perseverance.

  • Paul: Author of the letter; explains salvation and Christian living.
  • God: Central to the text; initiates salvation and gives blessings.
  • Jesus Christ: Source of salvation; unites believers in one body.
  • The Holy Spirit: Seals believers; empowers them to live for God.
  • Believers (The Church): Paul’s message; call to unity and maturity.
  • Satan (The Devil): Opponent in spiritual warfare; addressed in chapter 6.
